The purpose of a corporation is profit. Their goal is to make money and keep the stock holders happy. My question is: do the people that work for corporations work there because that is what they are passionate about or are they forever chasing the dollar just like the corporation?
My thought is that if the thrill of the sale is what brings that rush to you: kudos to you for doing what you are passionate about. But...if chasing the dollar seems like a never-ending race, why keep running?
As a senior staring graduation in the face I wonder will I give in to the temptation of the mighty dollar? Or will I stand up and deny the corporate world my knowledge and pursue low-paying, not for profit service fields in which I am passionate about?

Looks like a good first blog!
That is an interseting way of looking at the idea of the corporate world. I too wonder in the end will I end up finding a job chasing the dollar or for love of the job.
It just seems like no matter where you work, somehow you are affiliated with a corporation. It's kind of scary. I hope you do stand up and do what you are passionate about. Goodluck!
hey
Interesting thought, I think it's all about the paper in the end.
